R&B is definitely in good hands these days. My first "Love Experience" came on May 28, 2008 at the House of Blues in Dallas, TX. I didn't know what to expect, but I heard so much about this young man through my hometown DC friends. I thought the first two CDs were excellent work. I felt I owed this Artist my money. The moment he hit the stage I was impressed...this coming from a 45 year old man. All white and a huge gold chain. I forgot a fresh new Tee-shirt can make jeans look good. I wore Tee-shirts back in the 70s. The Artist had on white pants. No, he didn't look like a painter! Then, he set the tone for the night with a song....I forgot the title, "Let's close the Club down." This got me in the mood right away. Throughout the night he sung his incredible ballets reminding me of Marvin Gaye, Frankie Beverly, Jefferey Osborne, etc... Raheem has tremoundous energy when he performs. I hope speed is not enhancing his energy. His facial expression and constant moving made his stage performance polished. This was a Wonderful concert. He felt gave it his all. Support this young fellow, he will have a historical impact in the industry. Raheem makes music for a "lifetime."
